David H. "Dave" Hoag, a member of Brush Engineered Materials Inc.'s board of directors since 1999, died August 6, following complications from cancer. He was 65.
"Dave will be missed by all who knew him," said Gordon D. Harnett, Chairman, President and CEO of Brush Engineered Materials Inc. He added, "His qualities as a leader and a dedicated friend made him well respected and liked. As a member of our board's Governance Committee, Organization and Compensation Committee, and Retirement Plan Review Committee, he provided valuable guidance and counsel throughout a remarkable period in our company's history."
