Advanced Materials Group Wins Award
BUFFALO, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
The Advanced Materials group of Materion Corporation (NYSE:MTRN) is
being honored for "supplier excellence" by Analog Devices Inc. (ADI), a
world leader in high performance signal processing. Presented annually,
this award is given to outstanding suppliers who partner with ADI and
contribute to their business success while maintaining quality standards
and advancing technology.
Throughout 2014, Materion facilities in Buffalo and Brewster, New York,
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Subic Bay, Philippines and Singapore were key
suppliers to ADI of packaging materials and thin film products. Among
the products supplied to ADI were platinum targets, silicon chromium
(si-chrome) targets and Combo-LidsTM. The team was
particularly cited for consistent on-time delivery and high quality
physical vapor deposition (PVD) and packaging materials as well as
product development for si-chrome targets.
Upon notification of the award, Materion Advanced Materials President
Donald Klimkowicz commented, "Our employees are honored and grateful to
be the recipient of this prestigious award. It is their commitment to
excellence that made it possible. We look forward to continuing our key
role in providing Analog Devices with superior products."
The award ceremony and banquet was held in Hong Kong in March. In
attendance from Materion Advanced Materials were Christopher Konczyk,
Regional Manager from Buffalo, New York and Chee Kong Lee, Vice
